Rabbit in Milk
1 small celery stick, well chopped
1 small onion, well chopped
1oz of cooked ham finely chopped
8 rabbit joints
2 bay leaves , salt and peper to taste
1/2 pint of milk (300ml)
- Add all the chopped ingredientes in a medium size Panela de Pedra.
- Place the rabbit on the top , and season to taste.
- Bring the milk to the boil, then pour over the rabbit.
- Cover tight with the pot lid and bake in pre heated oven 170C (325F) for approximatetly
2 hours, until the rabbit is tender.
- Serve with new potatoes, broad beans or carrots.
